Detroit Voodoo

Detroit Voodoo is a Rock/ Metal Band from Detroit, MI formed in 2006. Members include:  Rube- Vocals, Nico G- Guitar, Tommy K- Bass, Chris L- Drums. 

Their first album release was “Rise Of The Medicine Man” (2013) featuring their most played song “Get Back”, afterwards releasing the single “Tree” (2014), and have recently put out a new EP “Lost” (2019).  

Inspired by groups such as White Zombie,  Pantera, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Godsmack, and Alice Cooper, their sound is constructed with machine gun drumlines,  earth shaking subs, solid aggressive riffs and powerful vocals. Shrunken “medicine man” heads, pulsating strobes, skulls, blood dripping banners, and intense showmanship give the crowd an evil hypnotic Voodoo display. Slamming his Voodoo staff and chanting to the crowd "The Medicine Man" presents a ring leader character making you feel like you are part of the Detroit Voodoo show. 

Detroit Voodoo has received air-play and support from a number of radio & internet radio stations. They have played both locally and nationally for 15+ years. Also at a number of large festivals such as Blue Ridge Rock Festival, The Gathering Of The Juggalos, FearFest West Virginia, & more.
